Privacy Notice

Last updated: 30 August 2026

This notice explains how Bellahoppa collects and uses the personal information you share with us, and the choices and rights you have. Bellahoppa is the data controller for the information described here.

What information Bellahoppa collects

When you complete the Bellahoppa Personal Travel Profile, we collect:

  • Identity and contact details — for example your name and email address.
  • Trip preferences — where and when you would like to travel, how you like to travel, your budget and the experiences that interest you.
  • Travelling-party information — details about the people travelling with you, such as their relationship to you and their ages.
  • Your questionnaire responses — every answer you give, stored exactly as you wrote it.

Some questions invite you to voluntarily provide accessibility, disability, dietary, allergy or health-related information where it is relevant to planning your itinerary. Sharing this information is entirely your choice. Where you do share it, Bellahoppa asks for your explicit consent before your questionnaire is submitted, and uses it only to plan your trip.

Why Bellahoppa processes your information

Bellahoppa uses your information to prepare and manually deliver a personalised travel plan for you. Every profile is reviewed by a person at Bellahoppa, and your finished plan is emailed to you by hand. We also use your information to answer your questions about your plan and to keep proper business records.

We process your ordinary questionnaire and contact information because it is necessary to take steps at your request and provide the personalised travel-planning service you have asked for. We may also retain limited information where necessary for legitimate administrative purposes and applicable legal obligations. We rely on your separate explicit consent to process any accessibility, disability, dietary, allergy or health-related information you voluntarily choose to share.

How your information is stored

Your original questionnaire responses are stored exactly as submitted. Separately from those responses, Bellahoppa creates an internal Client Profile — a working summary used by our planners. The original responses and the generated Client Profile are held as separate records, both identified by your unique Client ID.

Access to both records is restricted to Bellahoppa’s private, password-protected internal area. Sensitive accessibility, dietary and health-related responses are treated as confidential and are used only for itinerary planning.

Bellahoppa does not sell your information

Bellahoppa does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for advertising purposes. This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or automated marketing.

Marketing emails are optional

Marketing emails from Bellahoppa are entirely optional and require your separate consent. The marketing box in the questionnaire is never ticked for you and is never required in order to receive your travel plan. If you do opt in, you can unsubscribe at any time — either by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing info@bellahoppa.com.

How long Bellahoppa keeps your information

Bellahoppa retains your information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice and to meet applicable legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, it is securely deleted.

Your rights

You may contact Bellahoppa at info@bellahoppa.com to request access to the information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, withdraw a consent you have given, or raise any privacy concern. Withdrawing consent will not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

If you are not satisfied with how Bellahoppa has handled your request or concern, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
